Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) is a non-surgical, fully reversible vision solution that lets you go without glasses or contact lenses during the day. Instead of surgery, you wear special contact lenses at night that reshape the curvature of the cornea while you sleep. In the morning you remove the lenses and see sharply and clearly all day.
How does it work?
The lenses are designed individually for each patient, based on a 3D corneal map (Pentacam). During sleep they apply gentle, calculated pressure to the cornea and reshape it, so light is focused precisely onto the retina without any further optical correction needed. The effect lasts all day and reverts within a day or two if discontinued: fully reversible.
